Concorde shaped clouds at gate of Stavanger Harbour.
Firs growing up at plantations around. Fresh greenness. Luv it. Lots of rain helped. So they go up like crazy. They will face their Christmas, though.
Blackberries' blossom. Fruits to come soon.
Thorny thristle on steroids.
Birch growing from inside of some long-time-ago-cut thick tree.
Like in Poland, shaky leaves of alder.
Like in Poland, hazel bushes
Forget-me-not. Tiny flower. Reminds me of Polish meadows
Achtung: SORREL! Contains oxalic acid.
Yummy sour. In Poland while being a kid, we used to eat sorrel soup at home, with hard boiled egg inside. Damn good. Must be getting old...
Fern, like in Poland, only in much brighter places, exposed to direct sunlight yet alive.
On steep road's side. various weeds.
By the side of our old hut where I live, there's this old cabin. Used to be over run and grown thruogh with the ivy. With Gosia, we used to call it "Jumanji" after adventure movie with late Robin Williams. Now it's almost trimmed.
Living hedge, It, too straddles, yet tis not ivy.
Nice flower. Also reminds me of sweet Poland. Dunno the name.
Saint John's night. In here, each year the longest night is celebtated. This year the whole day was raining but the landlord invited lots of folks anywa. Started indoor in old sawmill. Pics are shown below not in proper sequence but you would get the idea. I hope.
Barely 200m from sawmill so guests started to move along the shore or through the woods. When the time came to start the big fire.
Disposing dry wood on top of soaked throughly pile of wooden stuff that would never caught fire at present state.
Kids played in verrrry cold sea water. But it's right to do it when you're young. Too, it's OK to climb up the inclined birch tree when you are just 2 years old. Details to come. Quite soon.
Saint John night rules, man.
I noticed these tinies of barely 2, three centimeters high beside that fire.
As I could see, also neighbours made a fire on the sea shore. But ours was bigger. And lasted longer into that night. Although "night" is not the word. It was still very bright despite very late hour.
Now it's time to go to beds and rest. Almost 11 PM. (I told ya!)

This is an undefragged rainbow piece that I had put days ago on my Facebook wall. Drew some attention.
Kinda strange to see this type of shape for round "objects". I called it "Pyramid from Pink Floyds" in honot to album cover of Dark Side of the Moon.
Next day. Sunny, business as usual. In the deep background on sea, a dinghy, a ferry and yacht at sails.
Wild rose grows. From its petails, people in Polish villages still make deliciuos confiture. When fruits are ripen, the are rich in pure Vitamin C (discovered century ago by an Hungarian professor in Seged, he had got Nobel for that).
And here approaches next shopping-thirsty client. Typical for our shop on island.
Nice black sheep. sometimes these sheep, as well as the cows, go down to the see and consume the algae and kelp. alive and dried, too. On professional pastures I see blocks of prepared salt to deliver minerals. We in Poland call them "lizawki" -or lickers. In this case, for our landlord's livestock, see weeds do just fine.
also swans eat kelp as we see.
Building place. The excavator is not very often used. They do progress in jumps that are distant in calendar. I mean, discretely. But "slowly, slowly aber sicher".
The End.
